Fire Roasted Tomato-Shrimp Veracruz

You'll love this simple shrimp dish flavored with orange peel and fresh thyme. Best of all, it's ready in just 15 minutes! From eatbetteramerica

I am craving Shrimp and this easy recipe is perfect for a summer meal. I love the taste of Fire Roasted Tomatoes, especially in Chili and I think they will taste delicious with the Shrimp.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
1 lb uncooked deveined peeled medium shrimp, thawed if frozen, tail shells removed
1/4 cup sliced green onions (4 medium)
1 fresh jalapeño or serrano chile, seeded, finely chopped
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 can (14.5 oz) Muir Glen® organic fire roasted diced tomatoes, undrained

Directions

1. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, onions, chile, orange peel and thyme; cook 1 minute, stirring frequently
.
2. Stir in tomatoes. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and sauce is slightly thickened.

I received two bottles of Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Daily Sunblock SPF 70 to review.

Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Daily Sunblock SPF 70 is broad spectrum uva - uvb with helioplex. It is liquid and needs to be shaken before using. The labeling states that it is:

Waterproof, sweatproof

Non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)

Oil Free - Paba Free

The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle of Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Daily Sunblock SPF 70 was the light scent. It does not have a heavy scent that is usually associated with Sunscreen. I like it because it is a fresh, clean smell.

I applied the thin, lightweight sunscreen to my face and it absorbed very quickly. After application the surface of my face felt very smooth. I especially like the fact that it is not greasy. This is the first time that I have used a liquid sunscreen and I now prefer it over the other heavy ones that I have used.

I like that you can apply makeup or moisturizer easily over it. I don't wear makeup in the summer but I did try it with this to see what the results would be and it is invisible under the makeup. I was also surprised that my moisturizer went over it very well.

I walk for exercise at least one hour daily. Sunscreen is important to me. I have been applying Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Daily Sunblock SPF 70 everyday for about two weeks and it has been working great. It has protected my face against sunburn.

This product needs to be reapplied after swimming, towel drying ,excessive sweating, or extended sun exposure. My area has been experiencing very hot weather in the upper nineties almost everyday. Prior to my daily walks I have been applying this sunscreen and taking it with me. The container is small and easy easily portable. I put it in my water carrier tote. On these hot days, I have had to reapply this about every 25 minutes. I like this product and I will continue to use it.
